Chivas Regal Mizunara is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, made from a selection of malt and grain whiskies. Chivas Regal has been blending Scotch since 1786.
What sets this bottling apart is its finish in Japanese Mizunara oak casks, which brings notes not usually found in Scotch.
The nose has ripe pear and orange zest, floral touches, creamy vanilla and a hint of sandalwood and coconut. The palate is smooth, with honeyed sweetness, white peach and gentle cinnamon and nutmeg spice. The finish is long and sweet, fading into aromatic spice.
