Royal Salute 21 Year Old Miami Polo Edition is a blended Scotch whisky released in 2024 as part of the Polo Collection. It is blended by Sandy Hyslop from whiskies that have each matured for at least 21 years, and bottled at 40%.
The whole blend is finished in first-fill rye and first-fill bourbon casks. The bourbon casks bring vanilla and coconut, while the rye casks add a fine spice. The pink bottle takes its cues from Miami's Art Deco architecture.
The nose offers ripe pear and honey blossom with vanilla pastry, white chocolate, marzipan and a touch of cinnamon. The palate has apricot, pear drops, coconut and milk chocolate, then lemon cream and a hint of gingerbread. The finish is sweet and silky.
