This is a 21-year-old peated Highland single malt from a distillery that is not named but rumoured to be Jura. It was distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2025 by Chorlton at 54.5% ABV.
It was drawn from a single refill barrel that yielded 198 bottles.
The nose combines sweet red apple with peat smoke, fruit gums, orange and herbal barbecue smoke, with spearmint, leather and light coal tar. The palate is rich and viscous, with smoked honey, crystallised orange and herbal pastilles, and a subtle tar note folded into custard. The finish is almost creamy, with baked pineapple jelly and pine needles.
