This is a Glendullan single malt from Speyside, bottled by Chorlton Whisky for its Spring Release, which comes with a new label design from founder David. The whisky matured for 23 years in a Bourbon hogshead.
The nose combines yuzu, cream, nuts, butter, malt and pear. On the palate, sweet and savoury notes interplay, with tangerine, digestive biscuits and herbal flavours, and a rich, creamy mouthfeel.
The finish is very long, leaving malty notes and the bittersweetness of yuzu.
