Cirelli Amphora Trebbiano Riserva

A Trebbiano Riserva from Cirelli, aged in amphora, with a surprisingly rich profile. The nose shows mature citrus peel, faded white flowers, toasted almond, light dried fruit and beeswax, supported by mineral tension and a measured oxidative note. The palate has body and structure, with acidity keeping it lively and a saline, tannic backbone giving persistence. Dry and balanced, it finishes with citrus and saline notes. Serve cool but not cold, with brief aeration, alongside savoury coastal dishes, important white meats, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes or structured risottos.
