This is an 8 year old Miltonduff from Claxton's Exploration Series, matured in bourbon barrels at Dalswinton Bond. It was distilled on 19 October 2017 and bottled on 10 February 2026 at 50%.
The bourbon casks gave it plenty of sweet vanilla, with coconut and barley sugar.
The nose is creamy and sweet, with barley sugar, coconut and vanilla. The palate is sweet and balanced, with vanilla, coconut and barley notes. The finish carries soft vanilla, oak and sweets.
