Claxton's Exploration Teaninich is a 10 year old single malt from the Teaninich distillery, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle as part of the Claxton's Exploration Series. It was matured in an STR hogshead.
On the nose there is pain aux raisins, bread pudding and sweet oak. The palate is full of pastry and raisin notes, with sweet tannins and vanilla. The finish is lightly dry but dessert-like, with lingering notes of dessert wine.
