Clydeside Stobcross (70cl, 46%)

Clydeside Stobcross is a Lowland single malt from The Clydeside Distillery in Glasgow, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the distillery's inaugural release, distilled from grain grown in the Lowlands, and 18,000 bottles were produced. The name comes from Stobcross Mansion, which made way for the Queen's Dock, where the whisky is now distilled. The nose is sweet and fruity, with apple, pear, citrus, vanilla, malt and flowers. On the palate come fresh orchard fruit, vanilla, white pepper and a mineral note. The finish is soft, with milk chocolate, apple and oak.
