Stobcross is a single malt Scotch from Clydeside Distillery, named after the road where the distillery's story began. It is made from 100% Scottish barley and water from Loch Katrine.
The whisky is a marriage of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and ex-oloroso sherry butts, with the bourbon casks predominating. The bourbon barrels are American oak and the sherry butts European oak.
The nose is floral, with fresh sweetness and tropical tones. Orchard fruits and hints of white pepper lead on the palate, and the finish is fresh and fruity.
