Clynelish 14 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from a coastal distillery. The name is an anglicised form of the Gaelic for green pasture, and it has appeared on whisky labels for two hundred years, longer than the present distillery has existed.
The whisky is described as having sweet floral fragrances and fresh, green flavour notes. The nose is complex, spicy and perfumed, with floral and malty hints. The palate is layered, with slight citrus over honey, peat and spice, and the finish is honeyed with a trace of brine.
