Clynelish 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 46%. It was matured for at least 14 years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon. The current Clynelish distillery was built in 1967, next to the original distillery dating from 1819. The nose is spicy, with malt and floral touches. The palate is fresh and citrusy, with a complex background of peat and honey, and the finish is spiced.
