This is a 14 year old single malt from Clynelish, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an original distillery bottling. Clynelish stands a few miles north of Dunrobin Castle, close to the village of Brora, in the northern Highlands. The distillery was built in 1967 next to a neighbouring distillery, which was then renamed Brora after the two had for a time produced under the same name. The name is said to mean hillside slope or garden on the slope. Water for the whisky comes from the Clynemilton Burn.
