A 1989 Clynelish from the Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice range, with the Map Label design. It is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle. Clynelish was made on the same site as Brora, and this is described as the old style of Clynelish. The nose is fresh, with citrus, a little brine, waxy notes, orange, a hint of coconut and sweet pastry. On the palate it is sweet and oily, with vanilla, grapefruit and a briny edge. The finish is mid-long, with citrus, grapefruit and more brine.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
