This is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from the Colonel E.H. Taylor line, in the 2026 release. It is bottled in bond at 100 proof, which means one distillation season, one distillery and at least four years in a bonded warehouse. Each barrel is aged in Warehouse C, built by Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. in 1885, and is chosen for its individual character. The bourbon shows off Buffalo Trace's Mashbill #1. Oak-infused vanilla leads the nose, with oatmeal, creamed corn and summer flowers. The palate pairs sweetness with tobacco and dark spice, then raisins, brown sugar and butterscotch. The finish is dry, with oak and white pepper lingering.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
