Compass Box Experimental Grain Limited Edition (70cl)

Compass Box Experimental Grain is a limited edition blended grain Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is built around a parcel of spirit made at the Loch Lomond Distillery from peated malted barley and distilled in a copper Coffey still. Although the mash is 100% malted barley, the column still means it cannot be called a single malt. The nose combines banana and toffee with soft, savoury barbecue smoke and hints of rum and raspberry. The palate is soft and oily, with almond and vanilla, and burnt pine cones develop late on.
