Magic Cask is a blended malt from Compass Box, in a 70cl bottle. It combines old whisky from Imperial, a distillery that has closed, with young spirit from a Speyside distillery.
The young spirit was aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and then moved into first-fill Oloroso sherry butts.
The flavours are marmalade, toffee apple and vanilla panna cotta, with a good mouthfeel.
