Nectarosity is a blended malt from Compass Box, released in 2024. The blend draws mainly on Clynelish, Balmenach and Linkwood, malts known for a creamy, honeyed and fruity character.
It was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and lightly toasted French oak. The label is in warm, nectar-coloured hues with gold accents.
The nose is typically described as honey, white grape, citrus blossom, vanilla and soft spices. The palate is smooth and creamy, with peach, pear, honey, citrus cream, soft vanilla and gentle oak. The finish is medium to long, fresh and fruity with a little spice and a lingering soft sweetness.
