Compass Box Nectarosity

Nectarosity is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, built around oak-driven sweetness from first-fill bourbon casks and custom virgin American oak casks. The special American oak barrels are used twice. They first give sweet spice to the grain whisky, which then finishes maturing in other casks. Once prepared in this way, the barrels go on to age malt whisky, and the two are blended together. It is described as honeyed and zesty, with lychee, juicy apricot and pineapple, then toffee and vanilla. Cinnamon bun lingers in the finish.
