Compass Box Secrets of Smoke Blended Malt (70cl, 52%)

Secrets of Smoke is a limited edition blended malt from Compass Box, in a 70cl bottle at 52% ABV. It combines malt whisky from the Caol Ila distillery with The Peat Monster, matured in refill red wine casks, and whisky from the Laphroaig distillery finished in Marsala barriques. The wine casks release the unexpected sweetness at the core of peated whisky. Expect toffee apple from the Caol Ila malt, bright cherry from the red wine casks and blueberry flapjack from the Laphroaig.
