The Peat Monster is a blended malt from Compass Box. The 2019 bottling returns to the brand's roots with a new recipe and a redesigned label that pays tribute to the design of the tenth anniversary edition. The blend brings together two Islay single malts, Caol Ila at 64 per cent and Laphroaig at 35 per cent, with 1 per cent Highland blended malt. It is described as combining intense peat with a minty freshness and rich aromatic complexity.
