This is a 12 year old single malt Irish whiskey from Connemara, in a 70cl bottle. It is a lightly peated expression, pale straw in colour.
The peat is gentle and sits under the fruit rather than over it. The nose combines mild grape, rockmelon and pear with dried grass, grains and vanilla.
On the palate it starts light, then gains in flavour with a subtle peaty undertone. The finish is clean and short.
