Connemara Peated Single Malt Original is an Irish single malt, and the only one made with peated malted barley. It comes from the Connemara distillery, opened in 1987 by John Teeling. Its character balances peat with fruit. The nose is malt, popcorn, liquorice and a light smokiness. The palate is creamy and balanced, with fruity notes and hints of peat and cocoa.
