Connemara 12 Years is a peated Irish single malt from the Connemara distillery, which was opened in 1987 by John Teeling. It is sold in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey is matured first in small casks and then spends a further period in American oak casks.
The nose is fresh, with peat, apple and pear. The palate is fresh and balanced, with citrus, smoke and black pepper. The finish is long and lingering, with chocolate, vanilla and smoke.
