Connemara 12 Year Old is a peated Irish whiskey, bottled at 40% ABV after twelve years of ageing.
Smoke is the thread through it, but a gentle one, set alongside honey, ripe fruit and vanilla on the nose. The palate is rich and round, with delicate peat, caramel, spice and dried fruit.
The finish is long and warm, with a subtle smokiness that lingers to the end.
