Connemara 12 Years Peated is an Irish whiskey aged for 12 years and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. As the name says, it is a peated style.
The nose is floral and sweet, with roses and nutmeg, a sweet undertone of mint and creamy, buttered popcorn. On the palate come honey, butter, cashew nuts and toffee alongside peat and a touch of vanilla.
The finish has a firm, spicy bite and rich, creamy peat flavours.
