Connemara 12 Years is an Irish single malt at 40%, in a 70cl bottle. It is composed each year from a selection of some of the best casks, and it is one of the few peated Irish single malts.
It is silky smooth with a strong smoky character.
The nose offers sweet barley, drifts of peat smoke and well-baked apple crumble. On the palate there is lightly honeyed, soft, clean and sooty smoke with peaty, vegetal notes, sweet barley water, light spice and vanilla oak.
