Connemara – Gold Irish Single Malt (40%)

Connemara Gold is a lightly peated Irish single malt bottled at 40%. Connemara is one of the few Irish producers of peated single malt, and this expression is aimed at people new to the style. It matured in ex-bourbon casks, which give a soft, creamy character. The smoke is subtle and grows in flavour and intensity as it goes. The nose offers pear, peach, cereal and a hint of smoke. On the palate, fruity sweetness and creamy notes run alongside the gentle smoke.
