This single malt was distilled at Tormore in August 2015. It was filled into American oak casks and then finished in an ex-port cask, giving seven years of maturation in total.
The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. bottled it at 57.5% ABV from cask number 9530, releasing 360 bottles independently for the Cooper's Choice series.
Red apples and grilled peaches lead the nose, with toasted oak adding a savoury spice. On the palate cinnamon and nutmeg join a mix of orchard fruit, followed by dark blueberries and chocolate coffee beans. The finish brings jammy fruit, floral malt, vanilla and cinnamon biscuits.
