Coopers Golden Cut Campbeltown Pedro Ximénez Cask is a Campbeltown whisky from the Golden Cut series, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. Its character comes from maturation in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.
The nose is of raisins and dried fruit, with caramel, dark sweetness and warm spices. On the palate it is full and warming, with sweet dried fruit, treacle and soft spice, and the cask can bring out chocolate and nuts. The finish is long and warm, with dried fruit, sweetness and a subtle spicy note.
