Cragganmore 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, from the distillery in Banffshire founded by John Smith. It belongs to the Classic Malts selection.
The stills have flat tops, which lets more of the spirit fall back during distillation and adds to the complexity of the whisky.
The character is powerful, with a strong malt flavour and hints of sweet oak, smoke and sandalwood. A wide range of nutty tones works its way up slowly. The finish is long and malty, with light smokiness and a touch of sweetness.
