Cragganmore 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from a distillery built by John Smith around flat-topped stills. It is gold in colour, with a firm, rounded body of light to medium weight.
The nose combines sweet floral scents, riverside herbs and flowers with honey and vanilla. The palate is strongly malty, with hints of sweet wood smoke and sandalwood, and the finish is long and malt-driven, with light smoke and a touch of sweetness.
It can be served over ice in a tumbler or in a tulip glass, with a splash of water to open it up.
