Cragganmore 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a one-litre bottle. The distillery was founded in 1869 by John Smith and is known for its flat-topped stills.
The malt is lightly peated, and the whisky matures in a mix of refill and seasoned oak casks.
The nose combines sweet floral notes with honey, dried fruit and a touch of smoke. On the palate it is rich and smooth, with malt sweetness, ripe pear, herbal notes and gentle wood spice. The finish is long and malty, with a subtle smoky edge.
