European oak butt
This is a 43 year old Cragganmore, filled into a single European oak butt in 1971 and released in 2015. At that point it was the oldest Cragganmore bottling the distillery had launched. Cragganmore is the Speyside name in Diageo's Classic Malts Collection. The butt, cask 2300, gave 474 bottles. The whisky is described as combining rich oak with mature fruit, gentle spice and honeyed sweetness, along with the light smoky character associated with Cragganmore.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
