Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 20cl bottle.
The whisky was first matured in a mixture of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Half of the vatting was then finished in first-fill sherry casks and the rest in first-fill bourbon casks.
The nose brings toasted marshmallows, fire-roasted pineapple and baked apples studded with cloves, with a trace of cordite in the background. It is described as robust and muscular, with plenty of exotic fruit.
