Craigellachie – 13 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Craigellachie 13 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% abv. It is non-chill filtered and has no added caramel colouring. The whisky was first matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Half of the blend was then finished in first-fill sherry casks and the rest in first-fill bourbon casks. It is a robust, muscular malt with plenty of exotic fruit. The aromas are typically compared to Bonfire Night: toasted marshmallows, fire-roasted pineapple and baked apples studded with cloves, with a trace of cordite in the background.
