This Craigellachie 16 Year Old is a single cask Speyside bottling, distilled in August 2009 and bottled in June 2026. It matured in a refill bourbon barrel, and 136 bottles were filled at 48% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The cask shows Craigellachie's waxy texture with citrus and orchard fruit. On the nose are lemon zest, baked apple, pineapple syrup, vanilla cream, toasted coconut and a light mineral note. The palate is softly sweet with citrus curd, toasted vanilla and gentle oak spice, and the finish is long, with citrus oils, vanilla fudge, toasted barley and warming oak.
