This is a 17 year old Speyside single malt from Craigellachie, selected by Signatory Vintage for its Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled in January 2009 and bottled in 2026 at 55.4%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in the Speyside before a finish in a first fill Madeira hogshead. It was filled into 302 bottles, and it has no added colour and has not been chill-filtered.
The nose shows dried figs, dates and candied orange peel with fermented pineapple and dark honey. The palate is full and almost sticky, with peppery spice and cinnamon, and the long finish carries oak.
