This is a single cask Craigellachie from Speyside, matured for 18 years entirely in a bourbon hogshead. The whisky was distilled on 15 December 2005 and bottled by Artful Dodger on 28 August 2024 at cask strength, 54.4%. The outturn was 330 bottles, each a 50cl bottle, and it is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings ripe apple, honey and orange peel, with vanilla and cask spice. On the palate come malty sweetness, juicy pear and apple, pepper and polished oak. The finish is long and dry, with lingering oak spice.
