An 18 year old Craigellachie from the Infrequent Flyers series, bottled at 58.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2007 and bottled in April 2026, and the bottling is one of 266. The whisky was finished for about six years in a Premier Cru Bordeaux cask. Its colour is clear and golden. The nose has the distinctive, slightly funky Craigellachie character, almost savoury and salty, with red grapes, rum and raisin ice cream and a touch of balsamic glaze. On the palate are red wine and tart fruit: red plums, cranberry and blood orange, with golden syrup and a hint of nutmeg.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
