This is a 16 year old Craigellachie single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2009 and bottled in June 2026 by Signatory Vintage as part of its Un-Chillfiltered Collection. The strength is 46% ABV.
It matured throughout in first-fill bourbon barrels. It is bottled without chill-filtration and without added colour.
The nose is ripe apples and pears with soft vanilla and a little caramel. The palate is creamy caramel with light fruit, and apple again gives it a balanced texture. The finish is long, carried by steady vanilla and a soft echo of caramel.
