This is a 17-year-old Craigellachie single malt from Speyside, bottled by Signatory Vintage in its Cask Strength Collection. It was distilled on 20 January 2009 and bottled on 26 March 2026, at 55.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Its character comes from a finish in a first-fill Madeira hogshead, cask 208, which gave 301 bottles. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose combines ripe peach and apple with malt sweetness, walnut and a light spicy oak note. The palate is full, with candied citrus, raisins, malty depth, warm spice and a little oak bitterness. The long finish stays nutty and fruity, with dried fruit and malt sweetness.
