This is a single cask Craigellachie, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2023 at 8 years old by Brave New Spirits. It belongs to the Cask Noir series, in an edition subtitled Telford's Travels to the Rhone Valley. The whisky was finished in a first fill Cotes du Rhone red wine barrique, cask 22034001, and yielded 313 bottles at its natural cask strength of 55.1%, without colouring or chill filtration. Cherry and berry red wine notes sit alongside the biscuity, malty character of the Craigellachie spirit.
