A cask strength Kentucky straight bourbon from Cream of Kentucky, a brand first introduced in 1888 by I. Trager & Co. of Cincinnati. This bottling is in the brand's Double Rich style and comes in a 75cl bottle.
The distillate was handpicked by Jim Rutledge. It is described as sweet and fruity, with heavy nut, oak and bitter notes.
The nose combines vanilla wafers, mince pie and cashews. The palate brings black tea, a little coconut and dark berries. The finish is soft cola fading into light, nutty oak.
