A peated single malt from Loch Lomond, released under the Croftengea name. It is 13 years old and dates from 2007.
The nose recalls banana milkshake with nougat, almond and peat, and ginger and mango jam develop later. On the palate it is smoky, with soft ginger, fudgy chocolate and plenty of dried mango. The finish is sweet and lemony, with a little salty liquorice.
