Crown Royal Hand Selected Barrel Canadian Whisky (75cl, 40%)

This is a single barrel Canadian whisky from Crown Royal, made at the Crown Royal Distilling Company in Gimli, Manitoba. The mash bill is 90% rye, and the spirit is distilled in the distillery's own Coffey Rye Whisky Still, a continuous still with 80 levels. Each bottling comes from one individually chosen barrel, so the character differs from one barrel to the next. It is bottled at 40% ABV. The nose is rich with rye grain, caramel and vanilla. The palate is full, with rye spice, caramel, dried fruit and oak. The finish is long and smooth, with warm rye spice and oak.
