This is a Dailuaine 10 year old bottled independently by Epic Drams at 59% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a single refill hogshead, which produced 125 bottles.
The nose combines honeydew melon with buttered toast and honey, along with a smooth oaky sweetness. On the palate come juicy pears, lemon peel, vanilla ice cream and a hint of honey-roasted almonds. The finish is long and subtly spiced, leaving a lingering warmth.
