This is a 10-year-old Dailuaine from Speyside, Reserve Cask Parcel 9 in The Single Malts of Scotland range. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The parcel combines whisky distilled in 2006, 2010 and 2011, drawn from six hogsheads and one bourbon cask. Elixir Distillers bottled it in 2022.
The nose is typically described as barley malt and vanilla, with honeyed peanuts, buttered toast, pear, peach and melon. The palate brings vanilla cream, honeyed breakfast cereal, cashews and lemon sorbet, with cinnamon and pepper. The medium finish has toasted nuts, honey, mocha and citrus, ending in allspice and oak.
