A Dailuaine 11 year old bottled by Lady Of The Glen at a cask strength of 57.9% abv. The distillery was founded in 1852 in Speyside and makes a full-bodied spirit with malty depth and gentle smoke.
This bottling is a recoop: the whisky was re-racked into a re-charred American oak barrique, where it spent six years. That time in re-charred oak brought out maple syrup sweetness and a refined oak character.
