This is a single cask Dailuaine from Dràm Mòr, aged 13 years and bottled at 55.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a refill bourbon hogshead and yielded 157 bottles.
Dràm Mòr is an independent bottler established in 2019 by Kenny and Viktorija Macdonald. Dailuaine is a Speyside distillery, built in 1851 by William Mackenzie, and single malt bottlings from it are rarely seen.
The nose is a mascarpone sweetness with vanilla cheesecake. The palate pairs sweet vanilla with delicate ginger, settling into an iced custard slice. The finish lingers with juicy vanilla and a delicate blend of spices.
