This is a 16 year old Dailuaine single malt from Speyside, bottled by the Artful Dodger Whisky Collective. It was distilled in November 2007 and matured in an ex-Ardbeg butt, number 149, before bottling in June 2024 at a cask strength of 57.1% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The cask brings a trace of Islay-style peat smoke to a Speyside spirit.
The nose offers fresh apples and dark berries with a little vanilla. The palate is malty and creamy, with spice from the wood and a gentle but noticeable peat smoke. The finish is dry, with sherry notes and lingering spice.
